In the list of the Thai national team announced before the AFF Cup 2024, Rungrath Poomchantuek was removed even though he was called up in November 2024. The Thai national team removed Chanathip Songkrasin and Theerathon Bunmathan from the squad ahead of the 2024 AFF Cup.
