The new generation Yamaha WR125R 2025 - a small-capacity off-road motorcycle model officially launched. Still based on the old generation frame platform, the vehicle has a new, more optimal design and a series of additional equipment.

The new Yamaha WR125R has the appearance of a professional "dirt bike". A special detail reminiscent of off-road models of the 80s and 90s is the front of the bike with a vertical hood, integrated with a compact full LED headlight/low beam system.

The rear lights also use LED technology with larger sizes, the design is quite similar to the Tenere 700. KYB 41mm telescopic front fork system, double steel frame and monoshock rear fork.

The WR125R's instrument panel has been redesigned, the indicator light positions have changed, and the phone can be connected to the MyRide software.

The new WR125R adds an ABS system to the front wheel, limiting wheel slippage when the vehicle moves on slippery roads. The rear brake disc is increased to 267 mm (previous generation brake disc 240 mm) and does not have ABS.

The power of the new Yamaha WR125R is a 125cc SOHC 4-stroke, 4-valve single-cylinder engine with VVA variable valve technology, maximum capacity of 14.5 horsepower (10.7kW) at 10,000 rpm and torque of 1.3 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

The vehicle has Euro 5+ emission standards and a multi-filter exhaust system.

Currently, many Asian markets, including Vietnam, are selling the Yamaha WR155R, which is the large-capacity version of the new WR125R.

New upgrades on the WR125R will soon be updated on the 155c engine version.

The price of the Yamaha WR155R 2025 will be announced at the EICMA 2025 exhibition.
