105 works entered the final round of the third Dien Hong Award

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Quang Tung, Secretary General of the National Assembly , Head of the National Assembly Office, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament said that the organization of the tournament has ensured quality, progress and responsibility.

After a period of urgent and serious work, the members of the Judging Council of the third Dien Hong Award in 2025 have completed the preliminary judging work. The Organizing Committee of the Award held a meeting of the Final Judging Council to exchange, discuss and agree on excellent press works to award the third Dien Hong Award in accordance with regulations.

On behalf of the leadership of the National Assembly Office and the Organizing Committee of the Dien Hong Award, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Tung sent his thanks to the members of the Preliminary and Final Round Councils of the Dien Hong Award for working responsibly and urgently, selecting quality, typical works worthy of entering the Final Round.

Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Tung hopes that the members of the Final Jury will continue to promote their sense of responsibility, work impartially and objectively, and select truly excellent works to award the third Dien Hong Prize in 2025.

Reporting on the activities of the Preliminary Council of the third Dien Hong Award - 2025, Mr. Pham Manh Hung, Deputy General Director of the Voice of Vietnam , Chairman of the Preliminary Council, said that the Organizing Committee had received a total of 4,079 entries from 163 press agencies. Implementing Plan No. 210/KH-BTC dated May 16, 2024 of the Organizing Committee of the Dien Hong Award on organizing the third Dien Hong Award - 2025, over the past time, the 6 Subcommittees of the Preliminary Council have worked scientifically, professionally, enthusiastically and responsibly to select the most typical works of 6 types of journalism.

The Preliminary Council met and unanimously selected 105 works to introduce to the Final Council for judging and decision, including the following types: 22 printed newspapers; 25 electronic newspapers; 15 magazines; 13 radio broadcasts; 22 television broadcasts; 8 photos.

The works selected for the final round must be balanced in terms of region, field, central and local levels, diverse in topics and have high quality in content, message and form of expression.

According to Mr. Pham Manh Hung, the highlight of the third season of Dien Hong Award is that the entries are very diverse, increasing in quantity and quality, especially in the categories of electronic newspapers, radio, television, and print newspapers.

The works closely follow the breath of life, are diverse in topics and fields, and strongly reflect the new directive priorities of the Politburo , the 13th Party Central Committee, and General Secretary To Lam, especially the issues raised for the country and the entire political system to prepare the position, strength, and determination to bring the country into a new era - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.

The works vividly reflect the activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, focusing on the three key functions of the National Assembly: legislation, supreme supervision and decision-making on important issues of the country. Some topics are focused on such as innovation in legislative thinking, institutional innovation, innovation, and improving the operational efficiency of the National Assembly, People's Councils at all levels as well as elected representatives...

Many works are invested in elaborately, long-term, using multimedia and graphics, demonstrating the professionalism of modern journalism and the serious and responsible work of authors and groups of authors.

The third season of Dien Hong Award has the active participation of central and local press agencies; in which, the number of local press agencies actively participating in the award has increased compared to the previous season; the quality of works has clearly narrowed the gap between central and local levels in the categories of visual, electronic and printed newspapers. Thereby, it shows the interest of the press in particular as well as public opinion in general in the activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils.

The third National Press Award on the National Assembly and People's Councils (Dien Hong Award) will be presented in January 2025.
