According to Yonhap news agency, on July 22, about 200 people were evacuated after information appeared on social media threatening a bomb attack at the 2023 Genshin Impact Summer Festival in the capital Seoul.
According to local police, a subject posted on Twitter that he had placed a bomb at the venue of the Genshin Impact 2023 Summer Festival held at Olympic Park in Songpa Ward, eastern Seoul earlier the same day.

The person wrote that the bomb would detonate "when the time comes," and shared photos of the explosives.
After discovering the information, festival organizers temporarily stopped the event and notified the police.
After searching the location, authorities said no bombs were found at the scene. Police are searching for the person who posted the information.
Genshin Impact is an open world action role-playing game, published by Chinese company HoYoverse.
The company is holding a four-day Genshin Impact festival, starting July 20.
