28,000 flags dyed red on Ngu Xa pearl island

These days, the entire Truc Bach walking street on Ngu Xa pearl island is filled with the red color of 28,000 Party and national flags celebrating the 80th National Day, ready to welcome visitors to the capital.

On the evening of August 30, the "Red Color of Ba Dinh" program was officially announced with many activities to experience and explore for tourists when coming to the pearl island of Ngu Xa (Ba Dinh ward, Hanoi).

Not simply a tourism festival, the series of activities promoting cultural and historical tourism in Hanoi 2025 also brings to the people and tourists a symphony of "independence - freedom".

Speaking at the event, Ms. Pham Thi Diem - Chairwoman of Ba Dinh Ward People's Committee - shared that this is the meeting point of the past and the present, a place connecting the thousand-year heritage with the aspiration to rise in the new era.

"Every relic, every street corner, every rhythm of life in Ba Dinh is a page of memory, a story that we want to tell our friends near and far. From those values, today, Ba Dinh enters a new phase - the phase of bringing its heritage and beauty to the world through modern, attractive and emotional approaches," Ms. Diem shared.

The program of cultural and historical tourism activities in Hanoi 2025 with the theme "Red Ba Dinh" aims to honor cultural and historical values. At the same time, it spreads patriotism, arouses national pride, and affirms the image of Hanoi as creative and rich in identity.

The program contributes to connecting destinations, introducing products and tourist tours in Ba Dinh ward.

Coming to Ngu Xa pearl island this time, visitors will be able to participate in activities under the theme "Heritage Road" such as visiting Quan Thanh temple, Thuy Trung Tien temple, An Tri communal house.

Experience on 4 double-decker train cars of Metro Line 6 project: Pho car, Subsidy car, Rice car and Tea and Coffee car.

Explore Hanoi cuisine at the Old Hanoi Culinary Memories experience area, Ngu Xa - Ba Dinh culinary space, and Vietnamese street food space.

From August 31 to September 2, there will be performances of traditional contemporary art, Ca Tru, and interactive street art performances.
