28 banks have linked with VNeID to pay social security

The State Bank said that as of September 5, 32 units had linked up with VNeID to serve social security payments; including 28 banks and foreign bank branches.

28 banks and foreign bank branches in Vietnam have linked with VNeID to serve social security payments, including: Vietinbank, BIDV, Vietcombank, LPBank, Vikki Bank, MBBank, PvcomBank, HDBank, CoopBank, ShinhanBank, TPBank, NCB, Nam A Bank, KienlongBank, Agribank, BVBank,ACB , MSB, Sacombank, BaoViet Bank, Techcombank, ABBANK, VIB, VPBank, SaigonBank, VietABank, MBV and OCB.

In addition to the 28 banks above, there are 4 intermediary payment service providers that have also linked with VNeID, including: VNPT Money, Mobifone Money, Viettel Money, MOMO.

Previously, implementing the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch No. 149 on giving gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the State Bank directed banks and foreign bank branches to ensure the payment system operates safely and smoothly 24/7, meeting the needs of gift giving to people; at the same time, closely coordinate with local authorities, the State Treasury and relevant parties in transferring gifts to people.

Accordingly, banks, foreign bank branches, and payment intermediary service providers have instructed customers on how to link social security accounts to receive money quickly, conveniently, and safely.

The State Bank also adjusted the operating time of the interbank electronic payment system during the National Day holiday so that payment and receipt of money can be continuous and timely.
