On September 19 in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA) held the Announcement and Honoring Ceremony of the Future Innovation Awards - VietFuture Awards 2025.
In 2025, the Award recorded 211 nominations from 46 schools, an increase of 20% compared to 2024. According to the assessment of the Organizing Committee and the Jury, this year's projects demonstrate maturity in both ideas and practical implementation capabilities, many projects have a clear development roadmap, linked to market needs.
After many reviews, the Organizing Committee selected 35 nominations to award the Prize with 7 First Prizes, 7 Second Prizes, 7 Third Prizes and 14 Potential Prizes.
Compared to the previous two seasons, VietFuture Awards 2025 has recorded a remarkable progress in both scale and quality. This year's projects are diverse and spread across 16 fields, highly applicable and clearly demonstrate maturity in thinking. Prominent fields include Artificial Intelligence and Automation, Environment and Sustainable Development, Technology for Society and Community, Education 4.0, Health and Healthcare, and new technology applications such as Blockchain, AR/VR, Web3, IoT.

This year, the award also recorded a significant increase in the number of projects in the fields of Fintech, Personal Financial Management, Games and Digital Entertainment - fields that rarely appeared in previous seasons.
In particular, most of the projects have effectively exploited AI and Big Data in education, healthcare, logistics, agriculture and digital arts and culture, showing that AI is becoming a central driving force for the wave of student innovation. Many projects were assessed by the Jury as having commercialization potential, opening up opportunities to become viable startup models in the future.
This year, there are 09 R&D projects of the School wishing to commercialize in many fields such as Education, Digital Games & Entertainment, Digital Culture and Arts, Environment and Sustainable Development, Smart Mobility, Healthcare, Green Technology and Energy Saving, Technology for Society and Community Development.
This is one of the highlights of the program, demonstrating the effort to connect schools and businesses, contributing to bringing research from the classroom closer to practice.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thang - Chairman of the Jury Board said: “The most valuable thing about students participating in VietFuture Awards is the aspiration to use technology and creativity to solve practical social problems. Many projects are practical and have high commercial potential. I believe that, if properly nurtured, many projects can come to life and create positive impacts for society.”
