Phu Duc's journey began with the first week of January, third quarter. The Hue native entered the third quarter competition as the contestant with the highest second place score in the monthly competition with 240 points. With 185 points in the third quarter competition, Phu Duc won a ticket to the yearly finals.

Phu Duc is good at Mathematics, likes to find practical applications of a theorem to memorize it. In addition, Duc also likes to roll up his blanket tightly and study when it is cold, the male student finds that the warmth helps him remember longer.
