450 delegates attended the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress

On the morning of September 29, at the Dong Nai Provincial Convention Center, the preparatory session of the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, took place.

According to the organizers, the congress will take place over two days: September 29 (preparatory session) and September 30 (official session).

The congress had 450 officially convened delegates, representing more than 131,000 party members in the entire provincial Party Committee.

Of these, 65 delegates are ex-officio members of the current Provincial Party Executive Committee and 385 delegates are appointed.

The oldest delegate is Mr. Luu The Doanh, 59 years old (belonging to the Provincial People's Committee Party Delegation) and the youngest delegate is Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Thao An, 34 years old (belonging to the Tran Bien Ward Party Delegation).

The congress has the theme: "Building a clean, strong, united, disciplined and responsible Party and political system; ensuring national defense, security and border sovereignty; mobilizing and effectively using all resources, developing a green, prosperous, civilized and modern Dong Nai province".

The congress has two contents. Firstly, summarizing the implementation of the Party Congress resolution for the 2020-2025 term and determining the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term.

Second, discuss and contribute opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and documents of the Congress of the directly superior Party Committee.

This Congress did not conduct elections for a new term, but listened to the announcement of the Central Committee's decisions on the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary; Inspection Committee, Chairman, Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, term I, and the list of delegates attending the 14th National Party Congress.

The Congress, with the motto "unity - pioneering - breakthrough - integration - development", sets out goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 period.

The general goal by 2030 is to build Dong Nai into a green, rich, civilized, and modern city; striving to basically meet the criteria of a centrally-run city by 2030.

For breakthrough tasks, Dong Nai sets out 8 specific task groups and 3 strategic breakthroughs.

The key tasks are to continue building and rectifying a clean and strong Party and political system; renewing the growth model, promoting science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; strongly developing the private and collective economies ; strengthening regional cooperation and linkages, and effectively mobilizing all resources...

The new highlight of this congress is that Dong Nai has proactively built a program and actions to implement the congress resolution and presented it at the congress for discussion to concretize the congress resolution into specific goals, tasks, solutions, lists of programs, projects and plans.

From the programs and actions, Dong Nai province added the "6 clear" principle, including: clear people, clear work, clear time, clear responsibility, clear products, clear authority to ensure feasibility and effectiveness in organization and implementation.

According to the organizing committee, the Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term is a political event of special importance, marking a new development stage in the process of comprehensive, sustainable and modern construction and development of Dong Nai.

Promoting digital applications at the congress

Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term has promoted the application of digital technology in congresses.

Specifically, robots are used to interact, answer, and ask questions about congress information with delegates; AI cameras with facial recognition technology are used to take attendance of delegates attending the congress...

At the same time, an electronic information page (daihoi.dongnai.gov.vn) will be created to support congress delegates in looking up information and general documents of the congress.
