During the 80-year journey, Vietnam has overcome countless challenges, transformed itself into an independent and unified nation, steadily moving towards modernization, deep international integration, and increasingly gaining high position and prestige in the international arena.

The upgrading of the relationship also consolidates and strengthens new cooperation mechanisms based on respect for international law, independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and political institutions of each country.
