77 works won prizes in the literary and artistic composition contest celebrating the 130th anniversary of Son La province's founding.

On October 6, the Son La Provincial Literature and Arts Association held an award ceremony for the literary and artistic composition contest on the theme "Son La 130 years of formation and development".

After more than 4 months of launching (from May 2025), the Organizing Committee of the contest received 331 works; through preliminary selection, there were 329 works by 116 authors. Of which, popular poetry had 100 works by 28 authors; photography had 104 works by 22 authors; prose had 35 works by 20 authors. There were 57 works by authors outside the province, contributing to spreading the image of the renewed Son La province.

The Jury of the specialized departments reviewed the works from September 23-29, selecting 77 works by 79 authors and groups of authors to enter the final round. The quality of the works was highly appreciated, rich in emotions, closely following the theme, honoring revolutionary achievements and national identity. Among them, some typical works include: "Remembering the day of joining the army", prose genre by author Tran Nguyen My; "Son La land of awakening", poetry genre by author Bui Nguyen Luong; "Embroidery scarf pieu" art genre by author Lo Thi; "Canh dong vang" photography genre by author Doan Trung Kien...
