Regarding business registration, in the first 9 months of the year, the whole country had 144,984 newly established enterprises, an increase of 18.94% over the same period in 2024. The registered capital of newly established enterprises reached more than 1,420.2 trillion VND, an increase of 22.59% over the same period in 2024.
In the first 9 months of 2025, there were 1,332 newly established enterprises in the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector, up 10.6% over the same period last year; 32.4 thousand enterprises in the industry and construction sector, up 14.5%; 111.3 thousand enterprises in the service sector, up 20.4%.
In September 2025 alone, 16,802 newly registered enterprises, an increase of 49.8% over the same period, with registered capital of VND 165.7 trillion, an increase of 78.56% over the same period.
In the first 9 months of 2025, the whole country had 86.4 thousand enterprises returning to the market, an increase of 41.32% over the same period last year. In September 2025 alone, 10,734 enterprises returned to operation.
The average registered capital per enterprise reached nearly VND10 billion, surpassing the figure of nearly VND9 billion maintained in recent months. The total registered capital added to the economy in the first 9 months of 2025 was VND4,720.5 trillion, up 104.3% over the same period in 2024.
However, in the first 9 months of 2025, the number of enterprises temporarily suspending business was 99.5 thousand, an increase of 14.5% over the same period last year; 53.2 thousand enterprises suspended operations pending dissolution procedures, a decrease of 13.5%; 22.3 thousand enterprises completed dissolution procedures, an increase of 45%. On average, 19.4 thousand enterprises withdrew from the market per month.
