9X designed a dress for H'Hen Nie, Thuy Tien was once forbidden by her mother to touch a sewing machine

Recently, a clip of Miss H'Hen Nie transforming into 3 outfits by designer Ha Thanh Viet attracted tens of thousands of likes on social networks.

This is not the first time H'Hen Nie has worn an outfit by a young designer. In 2022, the beauty queen also caused a stir when she wore an evening gown by designer Ha Thanh Viet at an event.

Designer Ha Thanh Viet is currently a familiar face to beauty queens, models, and artists in Vietnam. His designs have been chosen by Lan Khue, Thuy Tien, Midu, Nha Phuong, Thuy Ngan, Lan Ngoc... when appearing at important events. In 2022, Ly Nha Ky also wore a Ha Thanh Viet dress to the Cannes Film Festival.

Born and raised in a family with a tradition in the garment industry, Ha Thanh Viet showed his passion for fashion when he was only 10 years old. However, he did not receive support from his mother.

"My mother was a seamstress at that time, but she forbade me from touching a sewing machine because she was afraid that this career would be very hard for me. Everyone in my family wanted me to graduate and do simple office work like many others.

At that time, I did not have many opportunities to learn about the design profession. In 2006-2007, I had to learn everything through forums and the experiences of those who went before me. Later, when I entered university, I began to understand what it was like to work in fashion," the 9X designer shared.

While still in school, Ha Thanh Viet won prizes in several design competitions. He accepted many different jobs, from stylist (fashion consultant), assistant to famous designers, and even jobs that did not bring in income.

In 2015, when he was a second-year student, Ha Thanh Viet opened his first fashion store, designing, producing, and even delivering by himself. The 9X designer said that although that period was difficult and challenging for him, it brought him a lot of experience for the future.

Later, Ha Thanh Viet launched her own brand, pursuing an elegant, luxurious and classic style. Up to now, the Binh Dinh-born designer has launched many collections, receiving high praise from experts and support from artists, beauties...

The 9X designer said that when designing clothes, he always pays attention to the body shape, personality and unique aesthetic taste of each wearer. They are the "muses" who inspire him on his creative journey.
