Miss H'Hen Niê was the vedette for designer Duc Hung's show

At the opening night of Vietnam International Fashion Week 2024, designer Duc Hung closed the program with the collection "There was a winter like that" that left the audience in awe.

Miss H'Hen Niê opened the show in a bright red design. The outfit was impressive from the first steps thanks to the meticulously quilted velvet material.

Each design that steps onto the catwalk is like a gentle cold breeze of Hanoi's winter, blending traditional beauty and modern spirit.

Duc Hung uses bold and skillful cuts and slits to create a new fashion style that is still imbued with Vietnamese identity.

The highlight of the collection lies in the 3D, spongy block-making technique, allowing the patterned panels to bloom like flowers on a luxurious velvet background.

The delicate hems of the dresses - one of Duc Hung's exclusive marks - continue to conquer the audience with his craftsmanship and ingenuity. With each detail, he creates diverse shapes, such as flared dresses, lantern sleeves or floor-sweeping skirts, creating elegance and unmistakable individuality.

Not stopping at traditional designs, Duc Hung catches up with modern fashion trends with short designs, combined with wide-leg pants or short skirts. These designs bring a youthful, dynamic and vibrant feeling.

Continuing to take on the vedette position, H'Hen Nie showed off her luxurious aura when she appeared. Although it was her first time collaborating with designer Duc Hung, both of them made many impressions.

"There was such a winter" is not only about fashion, but also a story about a warm, gentle, and connected winter, where each design is like a beautiful and complete moment of Hanoi's winter.
