Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee of An Giang Province Le Trung Ho and Mr. Hak Leng, Deputy Governor, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee of Koh Kong Province chaired the signing ceremony.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Specialized Committee of An Giang Province Le Trung Ho presented a gift to Mr. Hak Leng, Deputy Governor, Head of the Provincial Specialized Committee of Koh Kong Province.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the An Giang Provincial Specialized Committee Le Trung Ho said that since the Agreement between the Government of Vietnam and the Royal Government of Cambodia was signed on August 28, 2000 in the capital Phnom Penh, up to now, 2 teams searching for and collecting martyrs' remains of An Giang province have searched for and collected 4,286 martyrs' remains in 6 provinces of Cambodia.
In Koh Kong province alone, Team K92 of the An Giang Provincial Military Command searched for and collected 160 martyrs' remains, of which 2 martyrs' remains were collected in the 2024-2025 dry season.
Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Trung Ho affirmed that the results achieved were thanks to the close coordination and enthusiastic support of the government, armed forces and people of Koh Kong province in collecting, providing information, guiding, protecting and assisting Team K92 and expressed sincere gratitude for the noble sentiments and valuable support of the government, armed forces and people of Koh Kong province.
Authorized by the Government of Vietnam's Task Force, the Political Commissar of the An Giang Provincial Military Command presented funding to support the Koh Kong Provincial Task Force.
The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province said that despite many achievements, due to terrain conditions, time and natural fluctuations, many martyrs' remains have not been found. Comrade Le Trung Ho hopes that the government, the Specialized Committee and the people of Koh Kong province will continue to coordinate, help and create favorable conditions for Team K92 to successfully complete the task of collecting martyrs' remains in the dry season of 2025 - 2026 to meet the expectations of the martyrs' relatives.
On this occasion, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Trung Ho wished the relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia in general, and the solidarity, friendship and cooperation between An Giang and Koh Kong provinces in particular, to grow more and more, stay forever green and sustainable.
At the ceremony, the two sides signed the cooperation memorandum for phase XXV, agreeing on a number of key contents: The Koh Kong Provincial Task Force continues to direct agencies, armed forces and localities to strengthen propaganda, mobilize people to provide information, support, guide and ensure absolute safety for Team K92 during the search and collection process.

Leaders of An Giang Provincial Department of Tourism presented gifts to Koh Kong Provincial Department of Labor and Vocational Training.
On this occasion, the An Giang Provincial Task Force was authorized by the Government of Vietnam to award funding to support the Koh Kong Provincial Task Force in coordinating activities to help Team K92 search and collect the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died during the war in Cambodia in Koh Kong province in the dry season of 2025 - 2026.
