On the morning of September 25, speaking with Vietnamese Enterprises, Mr. Vo Minh Trung - Director of the Department of Science and Technology of An Giang province said that in the context of digital transformation becoming an inevitable trend of society.
“Education and training play a key role in forming digital human resources for the future, so equipping teachers and students with digital skills not only meets the requirements of learning and teaching, but also contributes to forming digital citizens, adapting to the digital environment and actively participating in the socio-economic development of the province,” Mr. Vo Minh Trung emphasized.

Mr. Trung hopes that through the training conference, teachers will improve their skills in applying digital technology, forming a team of resource lecturers capable of spreading and guiding colleagues and students. Students will be equipped with essential digital knowledge and skills, practicing learning habits, transactions and civilized and safe behavior in the online environment. The education sector will make a strong shift in implementing online public services, cashless payments and ensuring information security.
Participating in the training course, delegates, teachers and students will be discussed, guided and practiced by the reporter with 4 key topics, including: electronic identification and VNeID application; skills in using online public services; skills in safe online payment; information security in the network environment.

According to the coordination plan, the training conference on universalizing digital skills for teachers and students in An Giang province in 2025 will be held from September 22 to October 17, with a total of 13 classes (each class lasts 1 day). In 5 clusters including: Rach Gia, Chau Doc, Ha Tien, Phu Quoc, Long Xuyen.
Phase 1, training core teachers, who are IT specialists, IT teachers at primary schools, middle schools, high schools, continuing education centers, vocational education and continuing education centers, and intermediate schools in the province.
Phase 2, training points for outstanding students in grades 8, 9 (middle school) and grades 10, 11, 12 (high school) in key wards and special zones of the province such as: Rach Gia, Long Xuyen, Phu Quoc.
