Anh Tuyet reunites with Ho Chi Minh City audience in a music night with famous Japanese artist

After a period of living in Hoi An ( Quang Nam ), singer Anh Tuyet had the opportunity to reunite with the audience of Ho Chi Minh City in two special music nights called Tango Night in Saigon , taking place on February 26 at IDECAF Drama Theater (28 Le Thanh Ton, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) and February 28 at the performance space at 1-3-5 Ngo Thoi Nhiem, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City. Along with Anh Tuyet, the main performer of the music night was the famous Japanese artist Kimiyo Ogawa.

Sharing with Thanh Nien , singer Anh Tuyet said that the program is held annually to raise funds to help poor children in Kon Tum and Ho Chi Minh City learn foreign languages (English, French) and vocational training. "In the past, I have also watched many programs produced by this organization. I found the program very humane and meaningful, so when I was invited, I immediately participated," she expressed.

In this reunion with the audience in Ho Chi Minh City, the singer of O Me Ly admitted that she could not help but feel nervous because it had been a long time since she chose the "pleasure of the countryside" lifestyle in her hometown. When receiving the invitation from the program, Anh Tuyet spent time preparing her costumes as well as taking care of the arrangement to perform in the upcoming show.

The female singer was excited and nervous when meeting the audience in Ho Chi Minh City again.

The 6X singer confided: "In the concert, I performed with a foreign artist, so I chose the ao dai to be most confident when performing. Tomorrow, I will fly to Ho Chi Minh City to assemble the stage. I want to bring the most neatness to my audience. Besides, the show also has many foreigners watching, so I want to let them hear what a Vietnamese singer's voice would be like when standing on the same stage with a Japanese artist. I just try my best to get a good look from everyone...".

In the program, singer Anh Tuyet will perform two songs: Pho Buon (composed by Pham Duy) and Bong Chieu Xua (composed by Duong Thieu Tuoc). "Because the organizers of the music night requested only tango music, I chose these two songs with a new performance. I will sing Pho Buon in a low voice, and Bong Chieu Xua in a higher tone when performing this time. I want the audience to enjoy what Anh Tuyet would sound like when singing with her widest vocal range," she added.

The Tango Night in Saigon program (co-organized by Poussières de Vie and the French Institute) is considered a musical journey combining nostalgic Argentine tango melodies and modern, fresh, and energetic Jazz quartet.
