Ba Che: Lang Da Communal House Festival 2025

On February 6 and 7 (January 9 and 10 of the year At Ty), Thanh Lam commune, Ba Che district organized the 2025 Da Village Communal House Festival.

The procession of the village's God palanquin was carried around Lang Da village by cadres and people of all ethnic groups in the district.

Lang Da Communal House is the place to worship the village guardian spirit who reclaimed the land and founded the village. This is where the rally to propagate the policy of Viet Minh; the Government 's policy of resistance against French colonialism took place and where the Hai Chi District Resistance Administrative Committee was established on October 4, 1946 (the predecessor of today's Ba Che District).

Delegates performed the seed planting ceremony to pray for favorable weather and a bountiful harvest.

The festival takes place with a ceremony and a festival. The ceremony includes rituals such as: erecting a pole, worshiping the village's tutelary god, carrying a palanquin carrying the village's tutelary god's tablet, offering incense, and digging holes to sow seeds.

The festival was organized with many activities of traditional sports competitions, folk games, demonstrations of wrapping coóc mo cakes, pounding bánh dày and performing special art performances, attracting the attention and encouragement of a large number of people and tourists.

The rowing competition was included in Thanh Lam commune's competition at this year's festival.

In particular, this year's festival, the Organizing Committee has included bamboo raft racing in the competition, with the participation of 4 teams from 4 villages in the commune. With the spirit of sportsmanship and dedication, the teams have brought dramatic and attractive competitions, creating a vibrant and bustling atmosphere, receiving enthusiastic cheers from visitors.
