Creative work, contributing to the community
For many years, Mr. Hoang Dinh Que's family in Quynh Son residential group, Tan An ward has always been at the forefront of the local economic development movement. This place was originally a low-lying land, where people previously cultivated using the old method, so life was hard and life was still poor. Determined to overcome difficulties, Mr. Que's family boldly converted the area of single-crop cultivation into aquaculture combined with livestock and poultry farming.

Along with promoting the application of new technology and techniques in closed-loop livestock farming, we make full use of agricultural by-products for livestock, ensuring cleanliness.” Straw, duckweed, elephant grass, corn stalks are fermented with microorganisms to make food; livestock waste is treated with biological products, creating a source of organic fertilizer for crops. Currently, his family's livestock farm has been expanded to 7,000 m2 , in addition to raising fish, pigs, and commercial ducks, it also raises bamboo rats and earthworms, bringing in a profit of more than 10 billion VND per year.
At the First Patriotic Emulation Congress of Bac Ninh Province in 2025, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 6 typical households: Mr. Hoang Dinh Que, Mr. Nguyen Huu Quy, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dung, Mr. Ngo Duc Thanh, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Duong and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tram. These are typical examples representing tens of thousands of cultural families in the province who are spreading the spirit of patriotic emulation through practical actions. |
Through research and learning, Mr. Nguyen Huu Quy's family in Ngo 2 village, Dong Ky commune has developed a safe chicken farming model combined with growing fruit trees on 8 hectares of forest hills. He invested in a cool barn system, automatic feeding and drinking troughs, used self-mixed herbal feed, limited the use of antibiotics and kept clean. The livestock are carefully selected; cared for properly, grazed under the shade of trees so they have few diseases and grow quickly. After being treated, chicken manure is fertilized for lychees, oranges, and grapefruits. Every year, his family raises more than 40,000 commercial chickens, earning billions of dong in profit.
Also with the spirit of creative work, daring to think and dare to do, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tram's family, Nhat Trai village, Trung Chinh commune, has succeeded with the model of producing vegetables, tubers and fruits in greenhouses applying high-tech agriculture; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dung's family, Lung Giang village, Tien Du commune, has a new direction in processing traditional foods. From a small facility, up to now, Mr. Dung's family has established a business, developing with 2 OCOP standard products: "PTK shrimp paste stewed with meat", "PTK stir-fried meat with shrimp paste" supplying the domestic market and for export. From the success of typical individuals and families, it shows that the emulation movement in production and business is increasingly widespread, effective, enriching the family and oriented towards the community. Each production and business model of the households has created jobs for dozens of local workers with stable income. Mr. Hoang Dinh Que and Nguyen Huu Quy actively advise and guide the experience and techniques of livestock farming for households in the area; Supporting seeds and capital for poor households to promote livestock farming and increase income. At the same time, households regularly support funds: For the poor, encouraging education, repaying gratitude; contributing to building houses of gratitude, welfare projects, supporting poor students... Those typical examples have contributed to affirming: Patriotic emulation today is concretized by practical actions such as working enthusiastically, being creative in production, getting rich legitimately and contributing to building a rich, beautiful and civilized homeland.

They teach their children to live in harmony with neighbors and friends, to love and sympathize with difficult circumstances; in addition to learning knowledge, they are also equipped with skills to handle problems in life. Growing up in that warm cradle, their three children are all obedient, good at studying and know how to share. The family of Mr. Ngo Duc Thanh, born in 1982, in Duong Son quarter, Tam Son ward is also a typical example of the patriotic emulation movement. Following their parents' example, their two sons are both good and obedient students. In particular, the eldest son, Ngo Quang Minh, has won first and second prizes in the provincial and national excellent student competitions in Chemistry for many years in a row. Last July, Minh won the Gold Medal at the International Chemistry Olympiad, was the person with the highest score in the Vietnamese delegation and ranked 7th in the world - the pride of his family and his hometown Bac Ninh.
