Bac Ninh considers strategic cooperation to develop precise positioning digital infrastructure

At the meeting, the representative of the DTALS Technology Alliance introduced in detail the plan to deploy the real-time precise positioning network (DTALS). Accordingly, the core product of the enterprise is the DTALS real-time precise positioning system, developed on the modern Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) platform. This technology allows to reduce errors to less than 3cm, stable signals with 99.9% reliability and latency of less than 1 second.

In addition to providing superior accuracy, the system is also integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) to automatically correct errors and prevent interference, ensuring continuous and stable signal quality. The company is committed to investing 100% of the construction costs of 15 CORS stations (DTALS infrastructure) covering the entire Bac Ninh province and completing installation and operation within 90 days, considering this a breakthrough in bringing "Made in Vietnam" technology products into practical service.

At the same time, introduce the construction of the origin tracing portal of Bac Ninh province; focus on developing raw material areas and deep processing of lychee, creating a breakthrough in precision agriculture , building a system to trace the origin of key agricultural products of the province, serving export. Enterprises also expressed their desire to accompany the province for a long time, bringing advanced technological solutions to practical applications.

At the meeting, representatives of departments, branches and units focused on discussing the solutions presented by businesses at the meeting. At the same time, they expressed their support, considering this a project that is in line with the digital transformation orientation. However, there are still some problems regarding infrastructure planning, legal procedures and the mechanism for free use of public locations.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the cooperation initiative of the DTALS Technology Alliance. The construction of a precise digital positioning infrastructure is of great significance, contributing to removing the limitations of current positioning technology, while opening up opportunities for Bac Ninh to accelerate digital transformation, develop the digital economy , high technology and build smart cities.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant departments, branches and sectors to carefully study and comprehensively evaluate the feasibility of the project, especially the legal framework, coordination mechanism and practical application effectiveness. On that basis, promptly advise the Provincial People's Committee to consider and decide, ensuring sustainability, long-term effectiveness and conformity with the province's socio-economic development orientation to 2030, vision 2045.

Specifically, regarding the installation of 15 signal receiving stations, he assigned the Department of Science and Technology of the province to preside over and closely coordinate with enterprises to implement the project. At the same time, urgently survey and report back on 15 locations for station installation before October 15.

The top priority is to place stations on land or at the headquarters of state agencies to simplify procedures and avoid problems in converting land use purposes. At the same time, the Department of Science and Technology is assigned to continue researching and updating policies to support science and technology enterprises, in line with the spirit of Resolutions 57 and 68.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that sectors and units need to propagate that this is a receiving station, not a broadcasting station, and does not generate electromagnetic waves that affect health or the environment.
