In 2024, Bac Yen district organized a conference to provide information and field trips to learn from experiences for 57 delegates of prestigious people, typical advanced models of economic development, production and business in districts in the province so that delegates could learn from good and creative practices in cultivation, animal husbandry, production and business, in order to improve knowledge, and at the same time, improve experience to return to the locality to propagate to the people.

On December 6, Bac Yen district held a conference to disseminate and provide information to 100 prestigious and typical advanced people in ethnic minority areas.

Organized sick visits for 03 cases, costing 2.4 million VND; visited 02 cases, costing 1 million VND; gave Lunar New Year gifts (funding source in 2023) to 198 prestigious people, with an amount of 99 million VND.

According to Head of the Ethnic Affairs Department of Bac Yen district Nguyen Dang Thuc, in the coming time, the unit will advise the District Party Committee and the District People's Committee to continue to pay attention to, direct and implement well the regimes and policies for prestigious people among ethnic minorities, ensuring full, timely and in accordance with regulations. Along with that, innovate the content and methods of organizing training courses, fostering and raising awareness for prestigious people, effectively carry out the work of management, guidance, inspection, evaluation and organization of policy implementation for prestigious people in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
