Provincial Judicial Reform Steering Committee: Deploying tasks for the last 6 months of the year

In the first 6 months of the year, the Provincial Steering Committee for Criminal Justice has directed its member agencies to effectively implement the policies and directions of the Central and Provincial Party Committees on criminal justice work. Party committees and grassroots party organizations have directed the serious and timely implementation and ensured the requirements on progress and quality of key tasks of criminal justice work. Documents related to judicial activities have been promptly deployed; the staff has been consolidated, invested in facilities, tools, technical and professional means and synchronously deployed working measures, improving the quality and effectiveness of judicial work. Judicial agencies have complied with legal provisions, especially the provisions on receiving and handling denunciations and reports of crimes, prosecuting, investigating and handling crimes, carrying out temporary detention, temporary imprisonment, execution of criminal sentences and handling complaints and denunciations in judicial activities. State management in the field of judicial support continues to receive increased attention, and socialization continues to be promoted in the spirit of CCTP. People's Councils and Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province promote supervision and social criticism activities, regularly monitor the activities of agencies, organizations and individuals in implementing the Constitution and laws; examine reports on the activities of judicial agencies in the province; supervise the implementation of citizen reception, settlement of complaints and denunciations according to regulations.

The Provincial Steering Committee for Traffic Safety reviewed traffic safety work in the first 6 months of 2024.

Deploying tasks for the last 6 months of the year, the Provincial Steering Committee for Criminal Justice directed member agencies to focus on thoroughly grasping and promptly implementing projects and plans to implement Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW dated November 9, 2022 of the Central Executive Committee on continuing to build and perfect the socialist rule-of-law state of Vietnam in the new period. Pay attention to consolidating and perfecting the organization and apparatus and improving the quality of staff in judicial and judicial support agencies to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation. Strengthen coordination and innovate processes and regulations in investigation, prosecution, trial and execution activities; promptly handle and resolve cases and incidents, especially serious and complicated cases of public interest. Perform well the work of receiving citizens; receive and handle complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections of citizens related to judicial activities; Strictly implement solutions to prevent corruption and negativity according to Regulation 132-QD/TW of the Politburo . Continue to promote administrative reform and digital transformation, apply information technology in judicial agencies. Improve the quality and effectiveness of supervision and social criticism of People's Councils and Fatherland Fronts at all levels on judicial organization and activities; strengthen thematic supervision of judicial activities; monitor and urge the timely settlement of citizens' complaints and denunciations regarding judicial activities in accordance with regulations. Improve the quality of giving opinions on the drafting of legal documents and legal documents according to requirements and authority; at the same time, promote propaganda, dissemination and education of law, focusing on legal documents related to judicial work for cadres, party members and people with forms suitable for each subject and each locality.
