Thuan Bac District Military Command promotes the emulation movement "Determination to Win"

Over the past 5 years (2019-2024), the "Determination to Win" emulation movement in the armed forces of Thuan Bac district has developed widely and enthusiastically with diverse contents and forms, encouraging and motivating officers and soldiers to overcome difficulties and challenges; strive to compete to complete emulation goals and targets, contributing to the successful implementation of assigned political tasks.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duc Nhi, Political Commissar of the Military Command of Thuan Bac district, said: With the close leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the Provincial Military Command, directly the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Thuan Bac district, the District Military Command proactively built a plan to closely combine the patriotic emulation movement with local campaigns and patriotic emulation movements. Regularly and effectively carry out education work, build emulation motivation, promote collective intelligence, dynamism, creativity, and self-awareness of officers and soldiers of the district's armed forces, promoting the patriotic emulation movement in recent years to develop in both breadth and depth.

In particular, the emulation movement focuses on building a comprehensively strong district military force "Exemplary model", in which political building is taken as the basis; focusing on implementing resolutions and directives of party committees at all levels; thanks to that, the annual political inspection results are 100% satisfactory, 75% good, excellent or higher; 100% of officers and soldiers of the district military force always have a strong political stance, absolute trust in the leadership of the Party; uphold the spirit of solidarity, attachment, ready to receive and complete well the assigned tasks. The work of managing, educating and training the contingent of cadres and party members is concerned in all aspects, qualifications and capacity are raised. In addition, strengthening coordination with local party committees and authorities to do a good job of taking care of building a contingent of cadres of the Military Command of communes with sufficient quantity, increasingly high quality, and a long-term source of successors. More notably, in the past 5 years, the emulation movement to promote initiatives, improve teaching models, and enhance solutions in political education and military training has been regularly led and directed by Party committees and commanders at all levels in the district's military. Through the contest organized by the Provincial Military Command, many initiatives and solutions have won high prizes and been applied in training practice. At the same time, to effectively implement the emulation movement "The military logistics sector follows Uncle Ho's teachings", the District Military Command has organized the development, adjustment, and full supplementation of logistics assurance plans according to regulations. Implementing the movement to increase production, officers and soldiers have focused on developing green vegetable gardens around the kitchen, taking care of the garden, expanding the scale, ensuring meals that meet standards, and improving the living standards of soldiers, thanks to which the healthy number of the unit regularly reaches over 99.6%.

Responding to the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas" and the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind", the Party Committee and the District Military Command have thoroughly disseminated to agencies, units and each cadre, party member and mass in the district's armed forces to participate in practical activities such as: Participating in labor days to build infrastructure works, dredging and repairing irrigation works, rural environmental sanitation; helping people to improve wasteland, mixed gardens, applying science and technology to increase income. At the same time, effectively maintaining the program "Hunger eradication, poverty reduction", "Rice jar for the poor"...

In order to continue promoting the international movement of the district's armed forces, contributing to the successful implementation of political tasks and socio-economic development of the locality, in the coming time, Thuan Bac district sets the goal of further promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, creating a widespread revolutionary action movement, mobilizing the self-awareness of each officer and soldier to strive to successfully complete tasks in all fields. Strengthening leadership and direction in building a national defense foundation, building a solid district defense zone; building a reserve force with increasingly high quality. Fostering knowledge of national defense and security for the right subjects, with sufficient content, striving for 100% of communes to achieve strong national defense and security. Actively increasing production, improving the material and spiritual life of soldiers, taking care of and ensuring the health of officers and soldiers to reach 98.7% or more; Regularly maintain and perform well the preservation and maintenance of weapons and technical equipment to serve training well, be ready for combat and ensure absolute traffic safety...
