Cao Bang Provincial Ethnic Committee: Strengthening propaganda to reduce early marriage and incestuous marriage among ethnic minorities

The Provincial Ethnic Committee in coordination with the Department of Education and Training organized the Golden Bell Contest to propagate the reduction of early marriage and incestuous marriage in ethnic minority and mountainous areas at high schools in the province with 5,136 students participating.

Since the beginning of the year, the Cao Bang Provincial Ethnic Committee has proactively implemented the plan, regularly directed the People's Committees of districts and cities to continue to promote propaganda and mobilization work, promptly detect subjects at risk of early marriage and consanguineous marriage, in order to limit the situation of early marriage and consanguineous marriage. Directed districts and cities to promote the construction of pilot models to reduce the situation of early marriage and consanguineous marriage.

Specifically, the Provincial Ethnic Committee coordinated with the Department of Education and Training to successfully organize 22 Golden Bell Contests to propagate the reduction of early marriage and incestuous marriage in ethnic minority and mountainous areas at boarding schools, high schools, junior high schools, and secondary schools in the province with 5,136 students participating.

In coordination with the Provincial People's Court, the Provincial People's Procuracy, the Department of Justice organized two mock trials to propagate early marriage and incestuous marriage in Nguyen Binh district.

Organize 02 working groups to study and exchange experiences outside the province under Sub-project 2 (DA9) of National Target Program 1719. At the same time, raise awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors and the whole society, in order to effectively deploy all State investment resources for National Target Programs.
