Handing over "Great Unity" houses to poor households in Ban Nguyen commune

On the afternoon of January 2, the Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Thao district coordinated with the Fatherland Front Committee of Ban Nguyen commune to organize the handover of the "Great Unity" house to the family of Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh, zone 12, Ban Nguyen commune, Lam Thao district.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh's family is poor, the house he lives in is old and seriously degraded but there is no budget for repairs. After reviewing, the District Fatherland Front Committee together with Ban Nguyen Commune supported the construction of a new house for Mr. Anh's family. After more than 2 months of construction, the new house was completed with an area of ​​75m2, the total construction cost is over 335 million VND.

Of which, the fund "For the poor" of Lam Thao district supported 70 million VND, the fund "For the poor" of Ban Nguyen commune supported 10 million VND; the rest came from family capital, help and support from brothers, relatives, people in the area and some benefactors.

Implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households, up to now, in Lam Thao district there are no more temporary houses, nearly 70 dilapidated houses, of which 45 houses are eligible for support to rebuild.

With the motto "No one is left behind", in the coming time, Lam Thao district will continue to connect and mobilize resources to support families in difficult circumstances, qualified to build new houses in 2025, helping them stabilize their lives, escape poverty, and together with the locality to successfully build advanced, model new-style rural communes and civilized urban areas.
