The delegation surveyed 4 projects, including:
The project of dredging, improving the environment and urban beautification of the Ba Lon canal drainage axis (Binh Dong ward and Binh Hung commune) with a total investment of more than 9,228 billion VND from the city budget. The project aims to drain water for an area of about 920 hectares, build Ba Lon bridge over National Highway 50, contributing to flood prevention, urban beautification and improving the water environment.
The dredging, environmental improvement and urban beautification project of Ong Be canal drainage axis (Chanh Hung ward and Binh Hung commune) has a total capital of more than 7,434 billion VND, implemented in the period of 2025-2030. The project is to dredge more than 4.2km of canal, build 5.6km long embankment, combine new traffic roads, technical infrastructure, trees, lighting, flood control and urban beautification of the area.
The project to upgrade and expand Nguyen Duy Trinh Street (section from Ring Road 2 to Phu Huu Industrial Park, Thu Duc City) , with a total investment of over 3,600 billion VND, is expected to be implemented in 2025-2029. The project aims to expand the road section, improve the technical infrastructure system, reduce traffic congestion and meet the connection needs of the eastern gateway area of the city. It is expected that these 3 projects will be presented at the 4th session of the 10th term of the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City.

The Project to Upgrade Road 991 from National Highway 51 to Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City has a total investment of 8,320 billion VND from the city budget, implemented in the period 2025-2030. The route is more than 10 km long, 57m wide, with synchronous technical infrastructure, aiming to connect National Highway 51 - Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway - Ring Road 4, contributing to reducing congestion, promoting logistics and attracting investment for the urban - industrial area of Phu My and Ho Chi Minh City.
The survey is an important preparatory step before the investment policy proposals are discussed and considered at the 4th session. All 4 projects are of urgent significance, contributing to solving the flooding situation, improving the environment, urban beautification and enhancing infrastructure connectivity, serving the city's socio -economic development.
