The qualifying round of the Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament II-2024 in the northern region is about to kick off at the Thuy Loi University Stadium from February 26 to March 5 with the participation of 9 teams, including the host Thuy Loi University, Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports, Phuong Dong University, National Economics University, Dai Nam University, Hanoi University, University of Physical Education and Sports, Hanoi University of Construction and Phenikaa University.

At the technical meeting with representatives of 9 teams participating in the northern qualifying round, representatives of the organizing committee including Thanh Nien Newspaper, in coordination with the match supervision team, referees of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and partners serving security, medical ... disseminated the tournament regulations and rules, answered professional questions as well as tournament organization.

Here, representatives of the 9 teams expressed their thanks to the tournament organizers for their thorough, methodical, and thorough organization from the opening of registration, sending out the regulations, drawing lots to divide the groups, and preparing for the "warm-up" of the tournament.

Mr. Pham Minh, coach of the University of Physical Education and Sports team, shared: "I thank the organizers for creating a very useful playground to promote and build the student football movement." Coach Nguyen Son of the Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports team commented: "It has been a long time since we participated in a student football tournament. The tournament was carefully prepared in every step. I would like to thank the organizers for bringing a professional playground, helping students to compete, exchange and improve their skills."

The coaches and school representatives had no questions or complaints about the organization, as all stages had been planned and implemented fully. Through the technical meeting, the tournament management board, Thanh Nien Newspaper and the VFF's experienced team of experts also fully explained the detailed information about the tournament's operation. The rules and regulations were clearly presented, combined with a question and answer session for the team representatives to exchange expertise in a constructive and receptive spirit.

Mr. Tran Quang Tuyen, member of the tournament organizing committee, commented: "I hope that the participating teams will compete with the criteria of fair play, comply with the rules of the game, respect the fans, avoid violence on the field, and promote football culture in accordance with the spirit of youth. To successfully organize the tournament, the teams need to maintain a calm attitude, ensure professional playing style, and martial spirit. Every team wants to win, but keep a cool head, bring a beautiful, clean and pure image to the student football field."

Mr. Nguyen Trung Viet, Vice Principal of Thuy Loi University emphasized: " Thanh Nien Newspaper, Thuy Loi University and Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) have made a detailed plan for the organization in terms of security, health and expertise... The parties have agreed to complete negotiations with partners to prepare security forces to protect the match, be on duty throughout the match and the opening and closing ceremonies, ensuring that the matches take place in a civilized manner, in accordance with the spirit: play fair, win fair, cheer beautifully".
