The Vietnam Stage Ancestor Commemoration Day is a traditional event held on the 12th day of the 8th lunar month every year. This is considered a major event for those working in the stage industry, to show their respect to the founders of the profession, honoring the predecessors who have contributed to the development of the industry. This day is also an opportunity for artists and those working in the stage industry to look back on a year of artistic activities.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Phuc, Director of the Youth Cultural House, said that when organizing the program, what he wanted was for artists to gather together on Vietnam Theatre Day, look back on the past year, and encourage each other to continue to strive and contribute to the country's arts.

Sharing with Thanh Nien , artist Minh Vuong expressed his emotions at the moment of being honored. "I am very happy and moved when everyone recognizes my dedication. My life has gone through many difficulties, endured, and overcome obstacles to be where I am today. Everything is not easy, very difficult. I would like to thank all the authorities who care about the theater industry, especially the reformed opera. This is also the motivation for me to try to stay healthy and strive further. I am lucky that I can still sing very well, I hope the profession will let me sing forever," the male artist confided.
Meanwhile, People's Artist Kim Cuong also shared the same feeling of "touched and happy" when her contributions were recognized. "The stage diva" expressed: "This is a happy day for us artists.
