Deputy Director of the Department of Construction Nguyen Tan Chan said that after the flooding and local damage on the roads, the department has directed functional units to urgently fix the problem. At flooded and landslide locations, the units have coordinated with local authorities to divert traffic, set up barriers and signals at locations with deep flooding, overflows, and landslides, etc. to ensure traffic safety for people and vehicles. At the same time, human resources and machinery have been mobilized to cut trees, clear trees, clear soil and rocks to fill the road surface and longitudinal ditches to ensure traffic safety and drainage of longitudinal ditches.
