This morning, January 24, Quang Tri Newspaper and Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup Corporation continued to coordinate to organize the awarding of 182 gifts under the program "Giving Tet gifts to the poor" to families in difficult circumstances in Hai Lang district.

At the program, Quang Tri Newspaper presented 182 gifts, each worth 600,000 VND (including 500,000 VND in cash and gifts) to families in difficult circumstances. Of which, 93 gifts were for households in Hai Truong commune, 24 gifts were for households in Hai Phu commune, 63 gifts were for households in Hai Dinh commune and 2 gifts were for 2 cases reported in the "Addresses in need of help" column of Quang Tri Newspaper.

Receiving a meaningful gift from the program "Giving Tet gifts to the poor", Mr. Nguyen Toan (60 years old), in My Truong village, Hai Truong commune, excitedly shared: "For many years, I have lived alone in a small house. Since childhood, I have been blind in one eye and lost an arm, so doing anything is difficult, so life has encountered many difficulties. Today, receiving this gift, I feel very warm, touched and less worried when the traditional Tet is approaching. I sincerely thank the affection that Quang Tri Newspaper and Thien Tam Fund have given me."
