Storm No. 10 caused 1,000 billion VND in damage to traffic infrastructure.

According to a summary report by the Vietnam Road Administration, storm No. 10 and floods have caused serious damage to the road traffic system across the country, with a total estimated value of nearly 1,000 billion VND.

Specifically, the national highway and expressway system managed by the Ministry of Construction suffered a loss of about VND78 billion (8%). Provincial roads and national highways managed by localities suffered a loss of about VND904 billion (92%).

Of which, 9 provinces and cities have sent quick damage reports including: Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Son La, Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang , Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh. Of which, Thanh Hoa is the locality with the heaviest damage, with a total estimated value of 600 billion VND, including 310 billion VND on decentralized national highways and 290 billion VND on provincial roads.

Northern mountainous provinces such as Cao Bang, Son La, and Lao Cai also recorded serious landslides, many of which are still being handled, especially in areas where slopes and roadbeds were washed away.

On the side of the Ministry of Construction, the 4 Road Management Areas most affected include: Road Management Area I (from Thanh Hoa to the North) 26 billion VND; Road Management Area II (from Nghe An to Thua Thien - Hue) 12 billion VND; Road Management Area III (from Da Nang to Khanh Hoa) 12 billion VND; Road Management Area IV (from Ninh Thuan to the South) 36 billion VND.

Damage at BOT national highway and expressway projects was recorded at 2 billion VND, mainly at Vinh bypass (Nghe An) and Cai Lay bypass (Tien Giang).
