Tuoi Tre Newspaper and Ton Duc Thang University cooperate in training media human resources

According to the cooperation agreement, the two units will cooperate extensively in many fields and activities, including practical training in communication for students of Ton Duc Thang University and behind-the-scenes activities for the community.

In addition, Tuoi Tre newspaper will also conduct communication capacity training courses for students, support student internships, and train communication and public relations skills for lecturers and staff of Ton Duc Thang University.

Sharing at the signing ceremony, Dr. Tran Trong Dao - Principal of Ton Duc Thang University - said that the school has a history of 28 years, which can be said to be quite young in the Vietnamese university education system.

In the current context of digital transformation, not only students but also lecturers need to improve their communication skills, especially as digital communication develops rapidly.

Therefore, with this cooperation, the school hopes that not only students of the Faculty of Social Sciences but also students from other faculties can come to Tuoi Tre newspaper to study, practice and intern.

"The school appreciates this cooperation. We hope that with our capacity and strengths, we will cooperate as quickly and effectively as possible, contributing to the training career of the school as well as of Tuoi Tre newspaper," said Mr. Dao.

Responding to the statement of the principal of Ton Duc Thang University, editor-in-chief of Tuoi Tre newspaper, journalist Le The Chu said that although the school is young, it has created a special mark, affirming its position in the Vietnamese university education system and world university rankings, creating a brand mark and very good facilities.

This is a testament to the vision, perseverance and constant efforts of the school’s leadership, lecturers and students. In addition to training and research activities, the school has accompanied Tuoi Tre newspaper through many programs, especially behind-the-scenes activities that create values that contribute to the community.

Some students from Ton Duc Thang University are now employees of the newspaper, many other students have come to the editorial office to study and intern.

Mr. Le The Chu added that Tuoi Tre newspaper has a 50-year history of dedication, connecting with young people, inspiring and actively supporting education, innovation and startups.

Therefore, the editor-in-chief of Tuoi Tre newspaper commented that "this cooperation not only connects two large units but also resonates towards common values of intelligence, innovation, sustainable development, for the community".

Regarding the cooperation in practical training for students majoring in communication and public relations at Ton Duc Thang University, journalist Le The Chu said that currently, students from many universities have been studying, experimenting, and practicing at Tuoi Tre newspaper.
