Kindergarten child's back bruised after being beaten, camera clip leaves parents shocked

According to information shared by Ms. KT on social networks, the family has a child born in 2021, currently studying in class C2, Gia Thuy Kindergarten, Bo De ward ( Hanoi ).

Last Saturday (July 5), Ms. T's child came home from school, suspected of being abused by the teacher, because when the family bathed the child, they discovered a large bruise on his back.

As soon as they discovered the unusual signs, Ms. T's family reported to the school and took the child to the National Children's Hospital for a general health check-up.

According to the shared information, immediately after that, the representative of the Gia Thuy Kindergarten Board of Directors and the teacher went to the family's house to apologize. However, after discussion, the teacher admitted that she only hit the child 1-2 times because the child was naughty and refused to sleep.

Disagreeing, the family continued to have a meeting with the school's Board of Directors to review the surveillance camera from July 5.

As a result, the surveillance camera recorded images of the teacher brutally abusing the child, beating the child in the classroom and dragging him out into the hallway. According to the parent’s description, while abusing Ms. T’s child, the child lying next to her was also abused by the teacher.

It is worth mentioning that at that time, there was still a teacher in charge of the class but no action was taken to stop it.

“As for the family, after reviewing the clip recording the teacher's abusive actions, my husband and I went to the ward to report the incident. We are determined not to let any other student be beaten and abused by a teacher like my child,” the parent shared.

The board of directors was also "very shocked"

On the morning of July 9, speaking with Tien Phong reporter , Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Nhung, Vice Principal of Gia Thuy Kindergarten admitted that the incident happened at the school.

"The school has reported the incident to management and the police and is waiting for instructions on how to proceed," said Ms. Nhung.

According to the Vice Principal, after the incident, the school's Board of Directors had a meeting with the child's family. When checking the surveillance camera during the day, it was discovered that teacher TTV had abused the child.

Looking at the camera footage, the school had nothing left to justify the teacher. The action was so wrong that they asked the teacher to write a report, a self-criticism, and temporarily suspended teacher V. from teaching to verify the incident.

According to Ms. Nhung, during the teaching process, all classes at Gia Thuy Kindergarten are equipped with cameras so that the Board of Directors can monitor activities. However, every day, someone will go to check and closely monitor the classes and ensure that teachers comply with the rules and professional ethics, and do not abuse children.

“The incident that happened in class C2 (the kindergarten class) was due to the teacher’s rash action that day. The school’s Board of Directors was also shocked that the incident happened because of their own teacher right at their school,” Ms. Nhung said.

Ms. V. has a university degree and has been teaching since 2012. Gia Thuy Kindergarten is a public school in Bo De ward, Hanoi city.
