- How has MC Mai Phuong's life changed after 3 years of marriage?
After 3 years of marriage, my life has changed a lot. The biggest change is that I put family first, whereas before I used to focus on work and personal ambitions.
Especially since having Leon (MC Mai Phuong's son's name at home), everything comes second to him. Wherever I go, whatever I do, I just want to quickly come back to my son.

- People still joke that only after marriage do they feel “disillusioned” about their other half. What about you, what surprised you the most about your other half?
It is true that women often tell each other that after marriage, the other half is no longer the same as when they were in love, but for my husband and I, from the beginning of our relationship, we have been frank in sharing our views. After 3 years of marriage, our personalities are still almost the same, so we have not encountered too many difficulties or surprises.
- Audiences are often familiar with the image of MC Mai Phuong smiling brightly and full of positive energy on the small screen. So what is the real-life version like?
In real life, I am just like what people see on TV: cheerful, positive, energetic and always smiling. In the MC - BTV field, there are many content areas, but with an extroverted personality, talking and smiling, I chose to work in the entertainment field. Many viewers commented that the first thing they were impressed with me was my smile.

I never thought the maid would treat her child like that!
- Recently, you shared a clip about the maid "physically impacting" your son Leon. Did you suddenly discover the incident or did you suspect it beforehand so you proactively checked the camera?
I was surprised to discover this and was very shocked. Because I am meticulous in taking care of my children, Leon's bedroom has 2 cameras installed, one right next to the crib. I always take the time to check the camera regularly, not because I am not at ease but because I want to observe all of my child's activities when I am not at home.
That day, I happened to check and saw that scene, so I quickly took my child back to my room. She rarely had to take care of Leon alone because her grandmother was usually by her side. As for me, if I wasn't at work, I was always by her side.
The video from the camera shows her getting upset with the baby, I think this might have happened before.
- Perhaps with a salary of 10 million and such a workload, the person who gets the job of taking care of Leon will be very lucky. Is this someone you know, was introduced or did you find him yourself?
I was introduced to this maid by an acquaintance, but she was not a blood relative. At first, she seemed to love Leon very much. She took good care of him in front of everyone. Because of my trust, I did not watch the camera 24/7 like before, but I never expected that one day I would see those images.
There was a time when she took a lot of time off work. I was going to fire her, but she begged me to let her stay and take care of Leon.

- In this incident, the audience gave many compliments for your composure and calmness. So now, did the maid admit her actions or apologize?
Children this age often fall down, so I can’t tell if the maid did anything to the child when the camera wasn’t on. When I talked to her, she denied it and insisted that she was just teasing and patting her.
Everyone around me said I was a calm mother who didn’t yell. Perhaps she saw me like that so she apologized sincerely but after transferring the salary, she sent another message.
- On her personal page, MC Mai Phuong freely shares many clips about her son. What is his most special personality trait?
I want to share and save my child's lovely moments as well as spread positive energy to everyone. Leon is a smiling, energetic, adorable and humorous boy. Every moment my child "acts up" or grows up, I want to record it.
- What is your biggest plan for 2025?
2025 is still the year I focus on family and work, in which family is always the number 1 priority. Currently, I mainly work from home, only teach 2-3 sessions a week and spend the rest of my time with my children.
Next year, Leon will be older so I want to take him out and travel with my parents. Then, when he goes to school, I will return to my job of developing as a multi-platform content creator.
