On October 29, Long An Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Duoc had a special reception for the Korean Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, Shin Choong Il, when he took the Consul General and specialists to visit and experience tourism programs at the Dong Thap Muoi Center for Research, Conservation and Development of Medicinal Herbs, Tan Lap Floating Village (Moc Hoa District, Long An).
Located in Binh Phong Thanh town, Moc Hoa with an area of 1,000 hectares, Dong Thap Muoi Center for Research, Conservation and Development of Medicinal Herbs has a large, pristine flooded Melaleuca ecosystem and is also a place to preserve many rare herbal genes, the largest place to extract essential oils in the region.

After being chosen as the main setting for the movie Endless Fields , this center has developed many types of eco-tourism, notably health recovery services, herbal baths, etc.
Tan Lap Floating Village is located along Highway 62, in Tan Lap Commune, Moc Hoa, and has long been a familiar tourist area on the main road to Dong Thap Muoi.
