Preparatory session of the 1st Gia Lai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030

(gialai.gov.vn) – On the afternoon of October 2, at the Provincial Conference Center (Quy Nhon Ward), the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee held a preparatory session for the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030. Attending the preparatory session were comrades: Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Rah Lan Chung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Anh Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Chau Ngoc Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Ngoc Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. Also attending were comrades in the Provincial Party Committee for the term 2020 - 2025, and official delegates representing more than 147,000 party members in the entire Provincial Party Committee.

At the preparatory session, the Congress approved the following contents: Election of the Congress Presidium, Congress Secretariat; election of the Delegate Qualification Examination Committee; approval of the Congress Agenda for the official session; approval of the Congress Working Regulations; approval of the Congress Rules; division of delegate groups, meeting locations and assignment of Group Leaders, Deputy Group Leaders and Secretaries; instructions for collecting opinions by ballot on the Congress Resolution indicators.

Accordingly, the Congress elected the Congress Presidium consisting of 18 comrades, including: Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Rah Lan Chung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Anh Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Chau Ngoc Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Ngoc Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mai Viet Trung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Thai Thanh Binh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Nguyen Thi Phong Vu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee; Dang Vinh Son - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Truong Van Dat - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Tuan Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Tuan Anh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tran Minh Son - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen The Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Le Quang Nhan - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police; Pham Thi To Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs; Tran Cang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Finance. The Congress also elected the Congress Secretariat of 03 comrades and the Delegate Qualification Examination Committee of 07 comrades.

At the preparatory session, it was also approved to divide into 9 groups of delegates to discuss and guide the collection of opinions by ballot on the main targets of the Congress. Accordingly, ballots for collecting opinions on a number of main targets for the 5 years 2025 - 2030 were sent to the delegates; the ballots contained 33 targets, including: 10 economic targets, 14 social targets, 07 environmental targets and 02 targets on Party building.

The preparatory session was conducted in a solemn, united and unified atmosphere, demonstrating the high sense of responsibility of the delegates, ensuring the necessary conditions for the opening session and the entire Congress program.

In particular, at the preparatory session, delegates organized donations to support provinces and cities that suffered heavy damage caused by storm Bualoi. This is a meaningful action, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, and helping each other of the Vietnamese people in general and Gia Lai province in particular./.
