The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) decided to keep the 2025 high school graduation exam schedule as announced in the 2024-2025 school year plan.
On the afternoon of March 20, the Ministry of Education and Training announced that on the same day, the Ministry sent an official dispatch to the Departments of Education and Training of Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City, Ninh Binh, Nghe An and Quang Tri regarding the time to organize the High School Graduation Exam in 2025.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry received official dispatches from the Departments of Education and Training regarding the consideration of adjusting the exam schedule for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam. The Ministry of Education and Training acknowledged and highly appreciated the initiative of the Departments of Education and Training in proposing to adjust the High School Graduation Exam schedule to meet practical needs in the locality and other actual situations.
After considering many factors, the Ministry of Education and Training decided to keep the 2025 high school graduation exam schedule as announced in the 2024-2025 school year plan.
The Ministry of Education and Training said that keeping the exam schedule as announced will help stabilize the psychology of students and parents and will not affect other activities in the education sector.
The Ministry of Education and Training requested that the Departments of Education and Training closely coordinate with relevant units to implement the 2024-2025 school year plan, organize the 2025 High School Graduation Exam according to plan and ensure safety, seriousness and compliance with regulations.
Thus, the 2025 High School Graduation Exam will be held on June 26 and 27, 2025.
This is the first year that 12th graders will take the high school graduation exam according to the 2018 General Education Program.
Candidates will take 4 subjects including: Math, Literature and 2 elective subjects from the remaining subjects (Foreign Language, History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology, Technology).
