Representative of the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board reported on the project progress. |
Total project investment 8,800 billion VND. Up to now, the site clearance has reached 99.98% (excluding the 8.1km section); 24/7 infrastructure investment in resettlement areas has been implemented and resettlement land has been allocated to 446/479 households. Construction progress has reached about 41% of the contract value.
Minister Tran Hong Minh requested the project investor to be proactive in preparing investment documents to upgrade from 2 lanes to 4 lanes. |
At the inspection, the provincial leaders proposed that the Ministry of Construction and other concerned ministries and branches report to the Government and the Prime Minister to support resources for the province to implement the adjustment and upgrade of the section from Km12+500 to Km77+00 from 2 lanes to 4 lanes. The province will overcome difficulties and strive to implement on schedule according to the Government's direction.
Through inspection, Minister Tran Hong Minh suggested that Tuyen Quang province should direct contractors and construction units to take advantage of favorable weather, work in "3 shifts, 4 shifts", "if working during the day is not enough, work at night" to speed up progress, striving to be able to open the technical traffic of 2 lanes by December 2025.
Minister Tran Hong Minh and provincial leaders listened to the construction unit report on the advantages and difficulties in implementing the project. |
During construction, it is necessary to take good measures to ensure labor safety when the weather is bad and floods develop complicatedly, minimizing the impact and damage caused by natural disasters.
The Minister agreed to the proposal to increase the scale of the project from 2 lanes to 4 lanes to be consistent with the policies and directions of the Central Government and traffic infrastructure planning. At the same time, he emphasized that the provisions of the law have clearly defined the authority and responsibility of the locality; therefore, the project investor needs to proactively carry out investment procedures according to regulations, not wait for or depend on the central ministries and branches; if there are any problems, report directly to the ministries for guidance and support to resolve.
On this occasion, Minister Tran Hong Minh, Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh, and Provincial People's Committee Chairman Phan Huy Ngoc presented gifts to encourage construction contractors. |
The province is focusing on completing the approval of the investment policy before August 15 to promptly implement the next steps, striving to start the 4-lane project by the end of this year.
