Border Guard Command inspects the construction progress of barracks in Ninh Thuan

On August 10, Major General Nguyen Duc Manh, Deputy Commander of the Border Guard (BĐBP), led a working delegation to inspect the project of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Border Guard Command barracks.

The Provincial Border Guard Command Headquarters project has a total area of over 8,732 m2. To date, the selection and signing of contracts for 19/20 packages has been completed. Currently, the construction and installation package for the Command Headquarters and the agency has completed the rough construction and is in the process of completion, and is expected to be handed over and put into use in December 2023.

Speaking at the inspection, Major General Nguyen Duc Manh praised the Provincial Border Guard Command for proactively completing the work of establishing and submitting projects to all levels for approval, designing construction drawings of projects to ensure proper procedures and regulations. Major General Nguyen Duc Manh requested the Provincial Border Guard Command and agencies, contractors, and construction units to focus on and coordinate to speed up the progress of works and projects, especially construction packages; be proactive in bidding and purchasing to ensure good progress and time. In planning barracks, it is necessary to pay attention to the adjustment of organization and staffing of superiors, the future development of the unit to have a long-term arrangement plan. At the same time, focus on solutions to mobilize human resources and material resources, carry out simultaneously and synchronously the work contents with the site and construction conditions allowed. Prevent the disadvantages of weather during the rainy and stormy season, proactively speed up the construction progress to complete on the extended time.
