This is an annual training activity carried out by the Coast Guard Region 1 Command to improve the guidance, direction and operation skills of commanders and agencies at all levels; to check and evaluate combat training results; the quality of weapons and technical equipment on ships in the unit's fleet; the level of command organization, practice of operating action layout tables of troops when using weapons and technical equipment in day and night conditions; to serve as a basis for proposing leadership and direction measures to improve the quality of combat training in the coming time.

Although this round of tactical exercises and artillery shooting at sea was carried out in complex weather conditions, with intense sunshine, sometimes thunderstorms, wind and heavy rain, all officers and soldiers directly participating in the training on the ships of the Regional Command were fully and deeply informed of the Directives and Resolutions of the leadership of the Party Committees at all levels; actively and proactively overcame all difficulties and hardships with the highest will and determination.

During the field mission, all officers and soldiers participating in the exercise always focused on the commander's command, mastered the combat layout tables, actively trained and demonstrated high determination in swimming tests, practiced shooting AK, RPD, B41 submachine guns in Lesson 3 application, tested single ship tactics; ship formation; practiced artillery shooting. Officers and soldiers of the ship crews of Squadron 11 and Squadron 102 showed their bravery, calmness, confidence, hit low-altitude flying targets and moving targets during the day and night at sea, successfully completing the requirements.

According to Colonel Luong Cao Khai, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Region, the results of this year's combined tactical exercise and artillery firing at sea have improved compared to previous years. This is the basis for the Region Command to continue to improve combat readiness, command organization level at all levels; bravery in operations, use of weapons, technical equipment and handling of training situations of officers and soldiers of the entire unit. Thereby meeting the requirements of the mission in the new situation, contributing to firmly protecting the sovereignty , security, order and safety of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
