In Decision No. 3458/QD-BVHTTDL, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Au Viet Hung, Head of Asia - Pacific Department (Department of International Cooperation) to hold the position of Director of the Vietnam Cultural Center in Laos, from September 29, 2025, for a term of 5 years.
In Decision No. 3455/QD-BVHTTDL, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism decided to appoint Mr. Le Manh Hung, Head of the Department of Digital Infrastructure and Information Security (Culture and Sports Digital Transformation Center) for a term of 5 years to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Center for Culture, Sports and Tourism Digital Transformation, from September 29, 2025.
In Decision No. 3454/QD-BVHTTDL, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism decided to appoint Mr. Nguyen Minh Son, former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of To Quoc Electronic Newspaper, for a term of 5 years to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism, from September 29, 2025.
In Decision No. 3457/QD-BVHTTDL, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism decided to appoint Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Director of the Center for Monuments Conservation (Institute for Monuments Conservation) for a term of 5 years to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Institute for Monuments Conservation, from September 29, 2025.
In Decision No. 3459/QD-BVHTTDL, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism decided to appoint Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy, Head of the Dance - Variety Troupe (Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater) to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater for a term of 5 years, from September 29, 2025.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Phan Tam affirmed that the appointment of officials is a regular task, seriously carried out by the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in accordance with current regulations related to personnel organization; ensuring democracy, objectivity, transparency and impartiality.
Deputy Minister Phan Tam acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and contributions of the appointed officials during their work, affirming that this is the recognition of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the capacity, experience and sense of responsibility of each individual.
The Deputy Minister hopes that the officers in their new positions will continue to do better, promote their professional capacity, innovative spirit, solidarity, initiative, creativity, quickly grasp the work, contributing to bringing the best results to build an increasingly strong collective unit.
At the same time, Deputy Minister Phan Tam also requested units to create conditions and closely coordinate so that new cadres can promote their capacity and successfully complete assigned tasks, contributing with the entire culture, sports and tourism sector to realize the aspiration to revive and develop Vietnamese culture.
In his acceptance speech, the new Deputy Director of the Department of Publishing, Printing and Distribution, Dinh Tien Dung, was honored to be trusted and assigned by the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to work at the Department of Publishing, Printing and Distribution (Publishing Department).
Mr. Dinh Tien Dung said that during his work, he had the opportunity to participate in many fields, including law and international cooperation, as well as many activities related to publishing.
This will be a favorable foundation for him to continue contributing and advising the Publishing Department and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in publishing work in the coming time.
Mr. Dinh Tien Dung promised that together with the leadership, officers and civil servants of the Publishing Department, he will promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility and strive to complete all assigned tasks.
Speaking after receiving the appointment decision, Mr. Au Viet Hung expressed his honor and emotion when the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism trusted him with the important responsibility of Director of the Vietnam Cultural Center in Laos.
Mr. Au Viet Hung shared: “After many years of working and being attached to the cultural sector, especially in the field of foreign cultural affairs, this is a great honor for me.
This success is inseparable from the attention and close direction of the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, as well as the support of the Department of Organization and Personnel and colleagues.
In the coming time, the task will still have many difficulties and challenges, but with my heart, enthusiasm and sense of responsibility, I promise to do my best to complete the assigned tasks well, contributing to further promoting the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos."
