Postponing the 725th anniversary of the death of National Hero Tran Hung Dao and the 2025 Con Son

Previously, the opening ceremony was scheduled to take place on the evening of October 7 at the Kiep Bac Temple relic site.

According to the announcement sent by the Propaganda Subcommittee of the 2025 Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival , the decision to postpone was made to ensure absolute safety for people and tourists, as well as for the organization of the festival, when the weather conditions include heavy rain and strong winds, posing a potential risk of insecurity at the ceremony area and relic sites in the Con Son - Kiep Bac complex.

Accordingly, the live TV program The ceremony commemorating the 725th anniversary of the death of National Hero Tran Hung Dao and the opening of the 2025 Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival broadcast on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television is also postponed.

VHO - On the afternoon of September 23, the Organizing Committee of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival 2025 held a press conference to announce the program. This is the first unique and typical traditional cultural festival of Hai Phong after the merger, taking place in a special context: commemorating Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Hung Dao and Nguyen Trai, and at the same time honoring the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac relic and scenic complex, which has just been recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage.

The Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Commemoration and Festival is an annual cultural and religious event, attracting tens of thousands of visitors to the sacred land to commemorate the merits of National Hero Tran Hung Dao.
