Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism honors outstanding artists and some outstanding books in 2024

(Fatherland) - The program introducing typical artists and some outstanding books in the field of performing arts and literature in 2024, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Hai Phong City, will take place on the evening of January 11, 2025.

The program to introduce typical artists and some outstanding books in the field of performing arts and literature in 2024 is chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, assigned to the Department of Performing Arts to coordinate with relevant individuals and units to organize annually with the desire to honor typical artists and writers in the field of performing arts and literature, and at the same time introduce and encourage artists who have achieved high achievements through professional art competitions and festivals in 2024.

The program introducing typical artists and some outstanding books in the field of performing arts and literature in 2024, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Hai Phong City, will take place on the evening of January 11, 2025.

At the program, the Organizing Committee will honor the faces of outstanding artists and actors who won Gold Medals and First Prizes at national professional art festivals organized by the Department of Performing Arts in coordination with the Vietnam Musicians' Association, the Vietnam Dance Artists' Association, the Vietnam Stage Artists' Association and related units in the past year: National Drama Festival 2024, International Dance Festival 2024, National Music and Dance Festival (phase 2) 2024, National Cai Luong Festival 2024; National Circus Talent Competition 2024.

Also at the program, through the Council for voting for outstanding artists in the field of performing arts 2024, the Council for voting for a number of outstanding books in the field of Literary Performing Arts in 2024 are prestigious writers, journalists, managers, musicians, directors...

The Organizing Committee will honor artists, actors, and art programs in categories such as: 10 outstanding books; Outstanding political art program of the year; Outstanding performance program of the year; Outstanding young face of 2024; Outstanding singer of 2024; Outstanding movie actor of 2024; Outstanding TV actress of 2024; Outstanding music and dance live show of 2024, Outstanding music and dance MV; Inspirational artist.

The selected books are outstanding works by domestic and foreign authors published and released in 2024 from January 1, 2024 to December 15, 2024.

As a member of the Council for voting for outstanding artists in the field of performing arts in 2024, Major General, musician Nguyen Duc Trinh, Chairman of the Vietnam Musicians Association, highly appreciated the event to honor outstanding artists and a number of outstanding books in the fields of performing arts and literature.

"This is an annual activity directed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and is very effective, honoring the artists working in public and independent art units. The voting council has worked very impartially and transparently, aiming to honor and encourage artists and those working in the arts and culture with good and impressive creations and works that touch the hearts of the audience," said the Chairman of the Vietnam Musicians' Association.

This is also the tradition of Hai Phong to always organize literary and artistic events to create conditions for the people and artists of Hai Phong to meet and exchange with famous artists at home. The leaders of the City Party Committee and People's Committee of Hai Phong City have assigned the Department of Culture and Sports of Hai Phong to coordinate with the Program Organizing Committee.
