Mega story, Longform is a modern journalism trend, including special reports, in-depth articles presented in a new and attractive style, keeping up with new trends in world journalism. These types of articles bring multimedia experiences to readers, and are currently being researched and applied by many domestic press agencies.

The training course took place from January 25-26, introduced by journalist Tran Ngoc Long, Deputy Head of the Vietnam Plus Electronic Newspaper (Vietnam News Agency) and shared experiences on journalism skills; overview, presentation using Longform and Mega story trends; skills in planning, producing, and editing Mega story and Longform articles to make them attractive and unique, helping press agencies create good and quality products for readers.
Through the training course, students will gain basic knowledge and skills, and raise awareness in creating Mega stories and Longform works suitable for each platform such as: Electronic newspapers, smartphone versions, connecting to social networks, etc., meeting the current trend of modern, multimedia journalism.
