HNN.VN - On the morning of October 3, the Department of Home Affairs organized a training course on "Improving capacity for civil servants and public employees working on Gender Equality and Women's Advancement".

Experts share skills with students at the training class

Training course for leaders, staff members on gender equality and women's advancement at People's Committees of communes and wards in the area.

The program's content focuses on practical topics such as: updating new policies and guidelines of the Party and State on gender equality; skills in integrating gender in planning and developing socio -economic programs at the grassroots level; communication methods, mobilizing to change community awareness. Trainees are also shared with psychological experts a lot of knowledge, behavioral skills, situation handling and practical experience to improve their capacity and effectiveness in implementing tasks related to gender equality, contributing to promoting the role of women in social life.

Through the training, the grassroots civil servants and public employees were updated with new approaches, ways of handling situations and experiences in communication and social mobilization in gender equality work. This is also an opportunity for localities to exchange, discuss and learn from each other, contributing to the effective implementation of gender equality goals and for the advancement of women in Hue city.
