After the controversy surrounding the financial issues of Khanh Hoa Club, the leaders of the provincial Department of Culture and Sports and representatives of the team and sponsors held a meeting this morning (December 8). Everything has temporarily calmed down. Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF), the tournament organizing committee immediately contacted the club to grasp the team's situation.

Information from the meeting results shows that the problems of Khanh Hoa football team have been resolved satisfactorily. Accordingly, the September and November salaries and shoe money of the team will be paid in full by the sponsor this afternoon (December 8) and the first installment of the signing bonus will be paid before Lunar New Year 2024. Khanh Hoa football team shows determination to compete in the next stage of the 2023 - 2024 season.

At 6:00 p.m. on December 10, Khanh Hoa Club will host Binh Duong Club at 19/8 Stadium (Nha Trang).

Previously, on the afternoon of December 7, the deadline for sponsors to pay signing bonuses to the players of Khanh Hoa Club was set. However, the players of the coastal city football team still did not receive the money, so they declared a "strike", not practicing until the money issue was resolved satisfactorily.

Coach Vo Dinh Tan said: "The coaching staff is working hard, but this depends entirely on the players. The coaching staff cannot do the same as before. The players said "I don't believe it anymore, I've promised too much about money". They keep making promises like that, month after month, and they haven't even received the money from last season. Therefore, the coaching staff must respect the players. Who will take care of their lives? Even if the players buy a house or something on installments, now people are coming to collect the debt. They are even being forced to pay off their debts."

Before the new season 2023 - 2024, Khanh Hoa Club intended to withdraw from the tournament because of lack of operating funds. The old sponsor announced its withdrawal but still owed salaries and bonuses, causing many members of Khanh Hoa Club to be in trouble. At the last minute, a business agreed to sponsor, helping coach Vo Dinh Tan's team to continue participating in V-League 2023 - 2024. It is known that Khanh Hoa Club will operate thanks to a sponsorship fund of 35 billion from the new sponsor. In addition, the team also has additional funding from the Khanh Hoa Provincial Football Development Fund, expected to be 20 - 25 billion VND.
