The 5-day April 30-May 1 holiday is the ideal time for tourists to start their summer travel journey. Quang Ninh will welcome tourists with a series of attractive cultural, sports and entertainment events, notably the Ha Long Carnival 2025 taking place at 8:00 p.m. on May 1 in Bai Chay ward - a program that has become the province's tourism brand.

With the theme "Carnaval Ha Long 2025 - Connecting heritage, pioneering to shine", the program consists of 4 parts: Opening art program; Ha Long Carnaval grand ball; DJ performance; high-altitude fireworks display. The highlight of the program is the convergence of intangible heritages from all 3 regions, honoring national identity on the background of world natural wonders combined with modern technologies, such as: 3D mapping, laser, light show. The Ha Long Carnaval 2025 grandstand is also the largest designed grandstand ever with a total of 15,000 seats to serve people and tourists (an increase of 5,000 seats compared to 2024).

Not only Carnaval, Ha Long City also offers a series of attractive festivals and events such as: Beer and Squid Festival, Lion - Lion - Dragon Festival, Tran Quoc Nghien Temple Festival, Kite Festival, engine-powered kite flying and paragliding performances... creating a bustling festival atmosphere throughout the beautiful coastal city.

The city will organize an event to announce the zoning of Tra Co beach, the water entertainment area and experience tourism products on the Bac Luan border river on April 29 at Tra Co National Tourist Area, Sa Vy cape. Van Don District will develop a community eco-tour with the activity "A day as a fisherman" and explore the culture and history of Ngoc Vung Island; at the same time, put into operation the night market within the Sonasea Van Don Harbour City area.

In Hai Ha, visitors can experience kayaking, take a cruise ship to visit and explore Cai Chien island commune. Binh Lieu district also introduces kayaking on Binh Lieu river, bringing an experience close to nature. Co To district is speeding up the construction of a project to develop tours to visit Co To Con island, Hon Ca Chep island, Hon Su Tu island in Dong Tien commune....
