The tour guide of the Vietnam Military History Museum introduced the exhibition systems with 6 themes: The early days of building and defending the country from 700 BC to 938; protecting national independence from 939 to 1858; fighting against French colonialism and gaining national independence from 1858 to 1945; resistance against French colonialism from 1945 to 1954; resistance against American imperialism from 1954 to 1975; building and defending the Fatherland from 1975.

Through the valuable artifacts and documents in the lively and modern exhibition space, officers and soldiers of all blocks have acquired a lot of historical knowledge; felt the great sacrifices of previous generations for the country to have peace , unity and development.

Lieutenant Vu Minh Hieu (a student of the Military Academy and School (Military Region 1) shared: “Standing in front of precious artifacts such as the Mig-21 5121 aircraft, tank 843, the pistol that General Vo Nguyen Giap used in the battle of Phai Khat - Na Ngan, the national flag that has faded over time or letters sent from the battlefield, I feel like I am living in the heroic atmosphere of generations of fathers and brothers. Before, I learned history through books, but when I directly witnessed the artifacts at the Museum, I felt more clearly the meaning of the two words "peace" and the responsibility of building and protecting the Fatherland of young soldiers like us today."
