Contrasting emotions of two top Vietnamese tennis players

(Dan Tri) - While Vietnam's number one female tennis player Nguyen Thuy Linh entered the semi-finals, top male tennis player Le Duc Phat stopped at the quarter-finals.
Nguyen Thuy Linh ( world No. 26) faces Asuka Takahashi (Japanese, world No. 35) in the quarter-finals. The Japanese tennis player made the number one female tennis player of Vietnam struggle many times. Ho Chi Minh City audiences held their breath watching Nguyen Thuy Linh compete for every point against Asuka Takahashi. Then the fans burst into emotion when Vietnam's number one female tennis player won the final match 2-1 (21-15, 17-21, 22-20).
Nguyen Thuy Linh won the right to enter the semi-finals, continuing to nurture the hope of defending the title of champion of the Vietnam Open badminton tournament. Le Duc Phat (left, world rank 62) faces Wang Zheng Xing (China, world rank 82) in the quarter-finals.
The male tennis player who participated in the 2024 Paris Olympics had a match that was not as expected. Le Duc Phat stopped at the quarter-finals of this year's tournament. This year's tournament attracted a large audience every day.
