Cadres and civil servants of Dak Rong commune need to continue to stay close to the grassroots, ensuring the legitimate needs of the people.

Dak Rong has a natural area of more than 516 ^km2 after merging Kon Pne commune and Dak Rong commune (old). The whole commune has 1,651 households, of which ethnic minorities account for more than 90%, mainly the Bana people.

This is a particularly difficult commune, with the rate of poor and near-poor households accounting for more than 50%. In addition, education has encountered many difficulties due to a local shortage of teachers at some schools in Kon Pne commune (old) because of the long distance (about 30 km from the current commune center). Some teachers have been recruited but have not come to work. In addition, the transport infrastructure has not met the requirements of local economic development.

Currently, the organization and operation of the two-level government model in Dak Rong commune is basically stable. The Commune Public Administration Service Center has been operating, receiving and processing administrative procedures.

However, compared to the planned number of staff, the commune's administrative apparatus is still short of 21 people. The commune has proposed that the province consider supplementing the staff and investing in purchasing equipment to ensure the operation of the new administrative apparatus.

After listening to the report and inspecting the reality at the Commune Public Administration Service Center, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Que highly appreciated the Dak Rong Commune government in approaching and implementing the 2-level government model. At the same time, he praised the efforts of the commune's officials and civil servants in the extremely difficult conditions of the commune, with a large area and located in a remote area, but still trying to resolve work and administrative procedures for the people.

Regarding the upcoming tasks, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Que hopes that the cadres and civil servants of Dak Rong commune will continue to stay close to the grassroots, ensuring the legitimate needs of the people; pay attention to the area of Kon Pne commune (old) to solve problems and situations that arise. The commune leaders pay attention and create favorable conditions to support cadres who live far away to work in the commune center.

In economic development, comrade Nguyen Huu Que suggested that the commune needs to clearly understand the socio-economic development targets assigned by the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee to focus on implementation, especially the target of total local product value. In addition, it is necessary to proactively propose development orientations and solutions for the commune in the following years with the spirit of "local decision, local action, local responsibility" and the working philosophy of "6 clear".

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Que also noted that Dak Rong commune should focus on preparing conditions and related work to successfully organize the Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
